When The Beacon opens its doors on July 19th, we want the whole community to come out and share in the fun of inaugurating our screen!

We’re offering a week of free screenings with a broad and wild mix of films geared for maximum audience pleasure ranging from the politically potent spaghetti western DJANGO to the immortal silent slapstick laffs and tears of CITY LIGHTS to the world’s wildest Star Wars ripoff, STARCRASH. Come see Ernst Lubitsch’s anti-fascist tribute to the subversive power of acting in TO BE OR NOT TO BE or let your eyelids get blasted off by kung-fu comic book fantasy full of magical dog dragons and wizard laser battles with BUDDHA’S PALM. See something you know and love or take a chance on something new and get a taste for the sorts of discoveries The Beacon wants to offer up!
