SECS FEST PRESENTS THE RASPBERRY REICH

A left-wing German terrorist group THE RASPBERRY REICH, lead by Gudrun (Susann Sachße), kidnaps the son of a wealthy industrialist in an attempt to emulate the Red Army Faction of the 1970s. In this aim, Gudrun urges her followers to prove their dedication to the revolution by giving up heterosexuality and to “Join the homosexual intifada.” With THE RASPBERRY REICH, director and gay provocateur Bruce LaBruce (HUSTLER WHITE, OTTO) delves into “terrorist chic” to explore the innately radical potential of homosexual expression. The result is a sharp and sexy satire of extreme left-wing politics.
