THE SEATTLE ESPERANTO SOCIETY PRESENTS: INCUBUS

If Ingmar Bergman directed an episode of "The Outer Limits", the result would be INCUBUS: a folk-horror treat starring William Shatner(!) that happens to be the only feature-length film produced in the "international language" of Esperanto.

Loaded with psychosexual tension and cloaked in the deepest shadows, INCUBUS finds wounded soldier Marc (Shatner) seeking out an isolated village rumored to have water with magical healing powers. Unbeknownst to him, the villagers are demonic succubi seducing men to their ruin -- and Marc has just become their next prey. Now restored from the last-known surviving 35mm print, this eerie and unforgettable film was stylishly lensed in Big Sur and other California locations by future Oscar-winning cinematographer Conrad Hall.
